In every couple, one or both partners keep hidden a bit of jealousy in their heart. This is not a problem, little jealousy means you love your partner and want to keep him/her only to yourself.
This little bit means you play angry when he smiles to the shop assistants because this is him. It may also mean you do not talk to him for 10 minutes when you see a suspicious number on the mobile phone. It will not hurt anybody and make your partner be aware he/she is loved dearly.
You must know that large amounts of jealousy can be responsible for the break-up of a relationship. It is not a simple theory, it is a fact. It can happen just because the atmosphere you create is unbearable. Instead of calm and relaxation you bring only misery and anxiety into your private life.
The moment you harass your partner with all suspicions and make a big deal from just a smile or a phone call, he/she will get angry and will probably leave you.
Treat your partner the way you want him to treat you. Respect him/her and do not accuse based on suspicion. Do it only when he/she spends one night away or when he/she makes lots of visits to a specific person.
You must make the difference between a childish reason of jealousy and a real one, because jealousy without any reason leads to the ending up of your relationship.
